Stories of Pets Who Found Their People Again

For years, my dog Romeo insisted that I write this book.

At first, I resisted. The stories were deeply personal, and some of them seemed almost impossible to explain. But Romeo was persistent. He reminded me again and again that people who had lost a beloved pet needed to hear these stories.

So I finally sat down and started writing.

They Come Back is a collection of true stories from my own life, as well as the lives of friends and family members, who experienced something extraordinary after losing a beloved animal companion.

Some pets returned as puppies or kittens and found their people again.

Some came back in unexpected ways.

Some visited briefly to say goodbye.

And some are still making their way home.

These stories explore love, loss, connection, reincarnation, spirit communication, and the mysterious bond that continues long after a pet leaves their physical body.

If you have ever wondered whether your pet is still with you, this book is for you.

Meet Romeo

Romeo was a Portuguese Water Dog who found us before he was born.

Years later, after he passed away, he promised he would find us again.

This book is dedicated to him.

His story is one of the reasons this book exists.

Out Of Phase

One of the inspirations behind this book was the song Out Of Phase, written during a period of reflection on loss, connection, and the bonds that continue beyond physical separation.

A Personal Note

Over the years, I have met many people who quietly carry the same question:

"Will I ever see my pet again?"

I cannot answer that question for everyone.

What I can do is share the stories.

And perhaps, through them, help you recognize the signs if one of your beloved companions decides to find you again.
